WAYNESBORO-Charges were filed Tuesday against a Waynesboro couple that police believe were involved in a check forgery spree which bilked more than 20 individuals out of $6,200. Daniel Lee Beverage, 29, and his girlfriend, Desiree Marie Welcher, 23, face six felonies in connection to the scheme that police say began in mid-September.
