Well, the geniuses at Google really hit the nail on the head when it comes to generating revenue. Through sponsored (paid) ads and Pay-per-Click listings, Google has figured out a way to grab a king’s share of the pie even when the customer isn’t buying! In fact, Google actually plans on the fact that people like to shop and surf online, and they smile every time someone does because Google gets paid for much of the surfing.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with my terminology, I’ll break it down a bit.
Whenever someone does a search on Google (or any other search engine such as Yahoo or Bing), a long list of links appear. Ten “organic” links appear on every page. How To Start A Business Letter?. “Organic” means that Google deemed that page relevant to the search terms. However, along the right hand side and at the very top of the search, you will see a list of links that have been bought and paid for. Someone is actually paying to have their website appear on that search page. The majority of those placements are “Pay-per-Click” which means that the website owner will pay a fee every time someone clicks on their link. That fee could range from a few cents to a few dollars and it can add up quickly if the search terms are popular.
Think about it.What Is Genre Of Tricky Business?… Google makes money when the web surfer clicks and buys, clicks and shops, or clicks by accident. $23,000,000,How To Buy A Mans Business Suit?.000 in 2009. Wow, that’s a ton of zeros! But the bottom line here is that Google gets paid to direct traffic. They are so powerful and popular, that people will view you as an expert if you can get “ranked” at the top of Google. It is perhaps even more coveted in some industries than a 30 second ad during the Super Bowl. He who controls the traffic controls the gold!
